Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG, formerly HD, usually abbreviated H-D or Harley, is an American motorbike manufacturer. Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during the first decade of the twentieth century, it was one among two main American motorcycle producers to survive the Great Depression. Harley-Davidson additionally survived a period of poor high quality control and competitors from Japanese manufacturers.
